Depp, the Pirates of the Caribbean star, spent approximately £5million in renovating the vessel that can accommodate ten guests in 5 cabins as well as 9 crew members. The yacht was named Vajoliroja after Depp’s ex partner Vanessa Paradis as well as their kids Lily-Rose and Jack. After his break up, he renamed it to Amphitrite (named after the Greek sea goddess).

J.K. Rowling — reportedly to be worth around £580million — fell in love with Amphitrite following her holiday with husband Neil Murray and their kids David and Mackenzie. It has been reported that she is intending to use it for holidays with her family. The yacht can also be chartered for £72000 a week on the Yacht Charter in Croatia website.

Depp kitted up the decks with a state-of-the-art sound system, as well as magnificent belongings including a pirate’s head sculpture. After that, he sold this to a United States shopping tycoon.

Amphitrite also come with little canoes, dinghy and windsurfing board. The company chartering it stated that the vessel hails from the “Golden Age of yachting with all the latest amenities”.

It is not known whether Rowling has given it a new name or not. Fans can expect fresh decoration from their favorite author.
